De vervorming
van het
alledaagse.

What happens to an object when changing the recognizable? In her graduation project "The reshaping of the everyday", Lieve shows us her particular vision on everyday life.

There are three scenes visible. The dining room scene, the kitchen scene and the gardenhouse scene. Each scene is designed with different materials and techniques such as stained glass, ceramics, drawings and printing. Lieve has reshaped the utensils shown in these scenes in such a way that they have become independent forms with their own character; art objects of their own without a function. This is further enhanced by the use of unusual materials and techniques. Lieve shows her particular and humorous vision on the things around us. She wants to offer people new perspectives and make them look differently at the normal things around us.
